Gisela LoPiano joined Boston Private Bank & Trust Company in 2003 as a Senior Vice President and Team Leader in Commercial Banking. For nearly 30 years she has worked primarily with, high net worth individuals, nonprofit organizations and privately held businesses providing a variety of financing, banking and wealth management solutions.
In her current role as Executive Vice President and National Leader for Specialty Lending, she is responsible for teams on both the east and west coasts who work with high net worth individuals, professional service firms, nonprofit organizations and venture/private equity firms. Gisela also serves on several committees at the bank responsible for credit decisions, client development and expansion of target markets. Previous career experience includes lending and relationship management positions of increasing responsibility with SunTrust, BayBank/BankBoston/Fleet and HSBC.
Gisela graduated with a BBA in finance from University of Miami and is an adjunct member of the Boston Security Analysts Society and serves on the Parent’s Council at Rollins College. She previously served on the boards of Habitat for Humanity Greater Boston and New England CDC, a provider of SBA 504 loans. She is originally from south Florida and is a 25 year resident of Westwood, Massachusetts.
