William Mikus is a 36-year veteran of the financial services industry and specializes in advising clients on how to manage and protect their assets. William’s primary responsibility is introducing prospective clients to Boston Private’s suite of services, proposing initial portfolio allocations based on client need and risk profile, and transitioning new clients to their dedicated service team.
Prior to joining Boston Private Wealth, William was the Founder, President, and CEO of Mikus Capital Management, located in Palm Beach. William began his career in 1979, gaining valuable experience over the ensuing years in the trading rooms of Bank of Boston, Citibank, and Salomon Brothers in areas such as bond and currency investing before establishing his own firm.
William Mikus has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Public Administration. He is also actively involved in the Palm Beach community, serving on the boards and committees of many prominent clubs and organizations including the Salvation Army Advisory Board of Palm Beach County, The Beach Club, the Town of Palm Beach Investment Committee, and the Palm Beach Civic Association.
