Sebastian Leburn has expertise in investment leadership, including portfolio design, strategy and management. Sebastian serves on the firm’s Investment Policy Committee.
Sebastian is the former Chief Investment Officer of Weiss Capital Management, a Florida-based independent investment adviser acquired by Banyan Partners in 2011, where he oversaw the company’s investment portfolios with the goal of maximizing risk-adjusted returns and creating long-term value for the firm’s clients. Boston Private Wealth acquired Banyan Partners in 2014.
Sebastian has more than a decade of investment experience in portfolio design, strategy, securities selection and asset allocation. A featured speaker at numerous investment conferences around the country, Sebastian has also made several national television appearances, including on CNBC-TV, to discuss investment positioning, market outlook and wealth management strategies.
Sebastian earned a master’s degree in Economics from Florida State University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute and is a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of South Florida.
