Scott W. Dell’Orfano is a 23-year veteran of the financial services community and is responsible for Boston Private Wealth’s corporate strategy and acquisition team where his knowledge of the industry, experience in running large, growth-oriented businesses, and his relationships throughout the RIA community will support the growth of the firm and its brand. Scott is a member of the firm’s executive team and serves on Boston Private Bank & Trust Company’s Policy Group.
Prior to joining Banyan Partners, which was acquired by Boston Private Wealth in 2014, Scott was Executive Vice President of Fidelity Institutional Wealth Services Group, where he oversaw the growth of Fidelity’s RIA business to $600 billion in RIA-custodied assets from $100 billion in 2004 over an eight-year period. In addition, to a series of executive level roles in the wealth management industry, Scott also held a senior vice president position for SEI Investments where he was responsible for the overall strategic development and management of the SEI Advisor Network.
Scott received his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Union College in 1990.
