Keith Elflein serves as a Senior Portfolio Manager, focusing on the firm’s equity income strategies. He is responsible for conducting fundamental research and designing and maintaining the quantitative models underlying those equity strategies.
Keith was Director of Domestic Equity Research for Silver Bridge Advisors, which was acquired by Banyan Partners in 2013. Banyan Partners was acquired by Boston Private Wealth in 2014. Prior to joining Silver Bridge, Keith was a member of Bank of America’s Private Bank, where he served as a Portfolio Analyst. He also served as the Vice President and an administrator of the University of Rhode Island’s New England Hedge Fund.
Keith earned a BS in Chemical Engineering magna cum laude from Case Western Reserve University and an MBA in Finance from the University of Rhode Island with honors. He was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Navy and graduated in the top ten from the Naval Nuclear Engineering School. Keith served aboard the attack submarine USS Hartford from 2001-2003 during Operation Enduring Freedom. He has received the National Defense Medal, the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, the Navy Expeditionary Medal, and the Navy’s Expert Marksman Medal.
