Karen Roses serves as the Senior Director of Private Bank Lending, a new role at Boston Private that is tasked with developing the firm’s strategy for custom credit solutions and products for high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals and families. She is responsible for structuring complex and creative private loans, and will act as senior most lending officer for the business. With her extensive background in client management, Karen will work with Boston Private Wealth Advisors and their clients to ensure that individual lending needs are identified, best solutions are presented, and all credit facilities are properly managed.
Prior to her current role, Karen worked at Bank of America and its predecessor banks since 2000, and most recently was a Private Client Manager with U.S. Trust for 10 years. A commercially trained lender, Karen’s primary role on the team was managing clients’ overall relationships and credit needs, specifically structuring custom credit for high net worth individuals and families. Prior to her role at U.S. Trust, she was an Associate in Fleet Boston’s media and entertainment large corporate lending division.
Karen received her B.A. in economics and German from Connecticut College and attended Phillips Academy Andover. She is currently on the Board of Overseers for the Massachusetts Society of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
