Ms. Macedo is responsible for working with clients to understand their financial goals and objectives and assist them in developing customized strategies that include investment management, wealth advisory and trust services.

Prior to joining Boston Private, Ms. Macedo was with U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management as Market Executive and Sales Manager. Previous to that role, Ms. Macedo was a Regional Private Banking Manager, managing the firm’s private banking business for New England as well as working with high-net-worth families. Her previous experience also includes 12 years at Silicon Valley Bank where she was a commercial lender and then founded the private banking practice for their east coast offices where she was responsible for new business development and client relationship management.  

Ms. Macedo earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She graduated cum laude from Babson College with a Master of Business Administration in Finance.  

Ms. Macedo currently serves on the Dana Farber Cancer Institute – Susan Smith Center for Women’s Cancers Executive Council. Her prior board affiliations include the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism, Isenberg School of Management, New England High-Tech Charity Foundation and Blue Hill Montessori School.
