Ms. Macedo specializes in working with successful individuals and families to manage and protect their assets. She is committed to delivering customized, fully integrated, financial solutions that aim to provide security and peace of mind. As a Senior Wealth Advisor, Ms. Macedo works closely with her Boston Private colleagues and her clients’ external advisors to provide thoughtful advice and guidance on investments, retirement income, philanthropic, estate, and tax planning strategies.
Prior to joining Boston Private, Ms. Macedo was with U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management as Market Executive and Sales Manager. Previous to that role, Ms. Macedo was a Regional Private Banking Manager, managing the firm’s private banking business for New England as well as working with high net worth families. Her previous experience also includes 12 years at Silicon Valley Bank where she was a commercial lender and then founded the private banking practice for their east coast offices where she was responsible for new business development and client relationship management.
Ms. Macedo earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She graduated cum laude from Babson College with a Master of Business Administration in Finance.
Ms. Macedo has many years of serving in the community and her prior board affiliations include: Dana Farber Cancer Institute – Susan Smith Center for Women’s Cancers Executive Council, the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism, Isenberg School of Management, New England High-Tech Charity Foundation and Blue Hill Montessori School.
