Andrew Correia leads the firm’s tax division and is responsible for providing guidance to clients and client advisors on fiduciary, estate, individual, partnership and charitable organization tax matters. Mr. Correia has over 20 years experience working closely with managers of foundations with investable assets in excess of $100 million. He has guided family members, boards of directors and trustees through regulatory and compliance issues, overseen internal/external audits and in the preparation of required federal and state tax filings. Andrew also oversees tax planning for the firm and is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation and filing of all returns.
Mr. Correia was a Vice President and Fiduciary Tax Manager for over 16 years with U.S. Trust Company’s Private Wealth Management Group, formerly State Street Bank & Trust Company’s Private Asset Management Group. He was responsible for all client related fiduciary and foundation tax filings for more than 8,500 accounts and $11.5 billion in assets.
Mr. Correia earned a BS in Accounting from Northeastern University. While attending Northeastern, he spent four years as a Tax Accountant at Bank of New England’s trust tax department.
