How to reset your Passcode for Online Banking
The following instructions will guide you through the Online Banking Forget Passcode reset instructions, to reset your Online Banking passcode.
Step 1. Go to, The Boston Private website. https://www.bostonprivate.com
Step 2. Select, Forget passcode? link
Step 3. Account Validation
To reset your passcode, please enter and submit the following information:
- Access ID
- Tax identification number or social security number
- One of your online accounts
Step 4. Security Validation Questions
Please answer your security verification questions: 2 questions display on the screen. You may click on Show My Security Answers to view the text (answers) as entered. Then submit
Step 5. Create and Submit your new passcode
Please enter and verify your new Passcode making sure to follow the character and length requirements for your new passcode.
Step 6. Your Passcode has been reset As a final confirmation step, a Reset Passcode Confirmation Code will be delivered to your primary email address on file.
You will be redirected to a Password Reset Confirmation screen
NOTE: This security code is valid for 10 minutes. Some email servers may block or filter the Security Code email. Please ask your IT person to add the bank’s domain to the allowed senders/safe list: bostonprivate.com.
Step 7. Passcode Reset Confirmation
Please enter the Reset Passcode Confirmation Code provided to you via email
