As Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Boston Private, Tim has overall responsibility for establishing the mission and vision of the company, developing the strategy for implementation and its ultimate execution.  He reports to the Board of Directors and is responsible for keeping them fully informed about and involved in the key policies and issues facing the company.  Tim serves on a number of the company’s firms’ boards and chairs the company’s Senior Policy Group.

Jonathan H. Parker
Vice Chairman

JP has more than 30-years experience planning and directing expansion for national and international businesses in a variety of industries. He is a respected expert on marketing and corporate strategy with sub-specialties in M&A and profit improvement. He spent 20-years as a founding partner at Edgar, Dunn & Company, a management consulting firm serving clients such as Wells Fargo, HSBC, MasterCard, The International Olympic Committee, Holiday Inn Worldwide, AT&T, and Monsanto from offices on three continents. Previously, he was a manager in Deloitte & Touche’s consulting practice and directed a variety of sales and marketing functions at American Airlines.

Megan holds the position of Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Boston Private.  Her principal role is Senior Lawyer for the corporation, of which she is also the Secretary.  She works very closely with the Compliance and Risk Management area.  In addition, she is responsible for the planning and execution of all board-related matters, coordinates all outside counsel activities, and is a member of the company’s Senior Policy Group.
