Jay is Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of the Wealth Advisory and Investment Management Groups at Boston Private.  He has line management responsibility for the company's wealth advisors and investment managers and is responsible for their strategic development at the Affiliate Partner and corporate levels.  Jay is a member of the company's Senior Policy Group.

He joined the company in 2004 as Executive Vice President and was most recently the President of the Eastern Region. 

Jay came to Boston Private from State Street Global Alliance where he was its President and a Director.  He worked at State Street for eight-years in several other marketing and investment assignments.

Previously, Jay served in a variety of senior executive roles with asset management organizations in the United States and Europe.
