George L. Alexakos

Chief Risk Officer

George is Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer at Boston Private. He is responsible for overseeing the Company’s enterprise risk management program. He has over 25 years experience in the financial services industry.

Prior to joining Boston Private he served as a risk consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP.  Before this, George was a Director of Loan Review at BankBoston, a Supervisory Examiner at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and served in various capacities within CitiBank and City National Bank.

George holds a B.A. from the Dartmouth College and an MBA from the American Graduate School of International Management.
